I have decided I have far too much art stacked up in the corners of my home, studio and storage spaces. It’s time to sacrifice a few old artistic ideas for new ones.
I’ve gone through the pile and selected the paintings that went nowhere. My husband backed me up. There were a couple of loose landscapes he really liked, so I gave them to him.
So now I have a pile of surfaces I am sanding down, coating with odorless mineral spirits and a new ground color. Right at the moment, I’ve got nothing but time to experiment.
